thereareclientscurrently connectedtothelibraryordrive.
■ Thespec i fie dvirtualdeviceisavirtualtapeconfiguredforreplication,unlessthe
‐f(‐‐force)optionisused.
■ Thespecifiedvirtualdeviceistheonlyexistingvirtualtapedriveinthe pare nt
virtualtapelibrary.
‐d(‐‐delete‐virtual‐tapes)isanoptiontodeletealloftheexistingvirtualtapesfrom
avirtualtapelibrary,astandalonevirtualtapedrive,oraloadedvirtualtapedrive
selected for
deletion.Bydefault,the virtualtapesaremovedtothevault,or,ifa
loadedvirtualtapedriveisselected,backtothelibrary.
‐f(‐‐force)isanoptionto forcethedeletionofavirtualtapeconfiguredfor
replication.Thecorrespondingvirtualtapereplicawillnotbedeleted
orpromoted.
‐X(‐‐rpc‐timeout)isanoptionto specifyanumberbetween1and30000secondsfor
theRPCtimeout.Thesystemwillretrythecommandfortheamountoftime
specifiediftheserverdoesnotrespond.ThedefaultRPCtime outis30seconds.
